Introduction
According to the importance and applied tidal studies needed for researchers and experts of different sciences including: Seafaring, Oceanology, Sea cost engineering, Sea coast region management, Marine geology, marine laws and boundaries determination, National Cartographic Center of Iran began to install tidal instruments at the Persian Gulf and Oman sea coastlines since 1990.

NCC has also analyzed the datum, gathered from the stations, in order to measure components and different tidal levels used for preparing sea charts and indicating height basis of the country.

Using the datum has a great important role in tidal prevision and its utilization. The most important application of this datum is in seafaring.

Sea charts present topographic sea bed information through depth measures, gained for sea points, and through the depth contour lines unto the base level of sea charts in a vast areas.

As the depth measures are normally under the sea chart base level, tidal provisions present sea level balance information above the sea chart base level and are a function of the date, hour, and place to the sailors. The sailors then can indicate the distance between sea level and sea bed in each time and place.

National Cartographic Center of Iran, as the first reference, honors that has gathered long lasted datum of permanent and provisional tidal stations and presents prevision datum and real tidal measurements to the users in different marine domain via the internet and mobile applied programs to satisfy the demands of the tidal information users.
